Mirror Mirror Where's the Crystal Palace?

Ugh, that was gross. Gross, gross, gross. I don't care how much Jenare wants to go there again. Next time, he's going alone.

Ick. It took hours to clean the mud off of my feet, and then even more to get my shoes clean, and they still stink. That whole place stank. And everything was wet and gross and my footsteps squelched and the ground was squishy and gross! And did I mention gross?

Stupid marshes. Stupid supply delivery. Stupid malboros--

THAT'S ANOTHER THING! Those were even more gross than the swamp. I never wanna see another one again in my life. Yuck!

And then there were those blue things. Called... er, something.

Well, whatever.

I'M NOT GOING THERE EVER EVER AGAIN.

HAH! THEY FINALLY LET ME IN!

So I've been doing important missions for Windurst, right? Actually, y'know, I don't think they realized just how important these were at the time. Probably thought they were just sending a hapless adventurer on a wild goose chase to occupy her time.

So first, they wanted me to go help some Taru's experiment. Er. Well. Not "some Taru", Ajido-Marujido. Minister of the Orastery. But he said he was done already, which was probably a good thing, because how do they expect me to help, anyway? I mean, I might be a mage, but I'm a white mage, and I've got nothing to do with the War Warlocks, anyway.

And then some other Taru--er, I mean, Apururu (Minister of the... let's see if I can remember this... Manustery)--wanted me to bring some Mana Orbs to get them charged. Nice and simple, right? Well. Yeah. Until some Cardians showed up and attacked. And the Tarutaru there (okay, don't remember this one's name) told me to just leave them. Apparently, this Cardian attack thing's been happening pretty often lately. (And they still send squishy adventurers to do the job? Sheesh...)

Let's see... And then I got something totally different, and had to take some food offering to Giddeus. Ick. Well, I guess that wasn't too bad.

And next, they sent me to the Optistery, where Tosuka-Porika wanted me to find a missing, dangerous book. (Is that really a good thing to trust to a random person? Well, whatever.) And Nanaa Mihgo had it, and that creep tried to steal all my stuff! Just like a long time ago! Hmph!

Aaaaaaaaanyway, those scary Cardians showed up again, and Ajido-Marujido came and exploded one, and he took the book and ran off. And told me it was the wrong book. As if. Well, anyway, the Optistery was okay with it, so I guess it's all fine.

And now, they want me to go check out what's going on in San d'Oria and Bastok. And since Jenare wanted to go back to San d'Oria -- y'know, we don't seem to be doing much of anything except constantly running back and forth between Windurst and San d'Oria -- I thought I'd start there. Went to the Consulate, found some girl who told me the Orcs are getting smarter. And then the Consul told me the same thing, and told me to ask Halver at Chateau d'Oraguille.

Which brings me back to the main point! I can go in now! Hah!

And, y'know, for a stuffy Elvaan place, it's actually really, rrrrreeeeaaaaaally pretty. Especially the garden. Memorial garden for Queen... umm... Queen something. The current king's late queen. Leaute! I mean, don't mean to belittle Windurst and all, but, man, it's even prettier than anything the Rhinostery can make!

Well, I'm going to enjoy my lovely new Chateau permission and visit more often, whether they want me to or not. Hah.

What the heck was that thing?! It was gross, and big, and... just... ewwwwww!

Right, so, what happened was, Jenare and I went to Carpenter's Landing to see, because someone thought it was a good idea. Anyway, we took a barge full of monsters, and ran into a bunch of tigers. Tigers!

So we took another barge, and...

And...

There was that thing! And, ugh. It was gross, and I bet it could have killed us both with one swipe of its... actually, I'm not sure what it swipes with, but whatever it is, I bet it's something big and dangerous.

I can't believe we survived. We just stayed in a corner of the barge and hoped it wouldn't come near us. Haa...

But, y'know, it was fun.
